We are seeking sales rep for the territory of east TN for new and used towing equipment sales. The purpose of this position is to develop and maintain our customer base in the east TN area. This position will be based out of the Kingston Springs office and is a hybrid position requiring 50% in office and 50% in the field sales calling/customer visits. Crouch's is a Towing Equipment distributor for Miller Industries offering the full line of Miller Industries towing products along with parts and service. Candidates will be required to obtain a DOT health card within the first month of hire. Candidates will be required to obtain a class A CDL within the first year. This is a salary plus commission based role which opens the door for exceptional earning potential based on performance.
Responsibilities
- Actively sell a diverse range of towing equipment to both existing and potential customers.
- Assess customer equipment for potential trades, providing valuable insights.
- Establish, cultivate, and grow relationships with towing companies in the East Tennessee trade area.
- Assist in resolving customer problems and addressing any complaints that may arise.
- Regularly report prospective leads and daily activities to the Sales Manager in Tennessee.
- Stay updated on the latest equipment and industry practices within the towing sector.
- Demonstrate a commitment to continuous improvement through feedback mechanisms.
Qualifications
- Proven work experience as a successful sales representative.
- Knowledge of automotive or heavy equipment, with a preference for candidates with a CDL (Commercial Driver's License), which can be obtained while on the job.
- Ability to construct and maintain productive business relationships.
- Highly motivated to achieve and exceed sales goals.
- Excellent communication skills with a keen ability to negotiate effectively.
